amr,
There are a multitude of text books dedicated to mechanical ventilation, there are reams of articles that have been published on the subject, there have been many hundreds if not thousands of seminars and educational discussions dedicated to the subject and every ventilator comes with an operator's manual. Using a ventilator is a highly complex topic and we might be able to help if we knew what your specific problem is or what you are trying to accomplish. The many concepts of application of mechanical ventilation require much training an d clinical experience to apply appropriately in critical care situations. Management of a specific ventilator and applications for a specific patient can be taught in a relatively short time to an apt student in order for care in the home, but does require objective oriented training, demonstration and expertly monitored return demonstration. So to answer your question in brief: yes there are. I rather think that is not what you need by posting this question, so please let us know what you seek more specifically and we will try to help.
