We have a doc that's chomping at the bit to use this thing (he's like a kid in a candy shop). I've been to the Emerson website and copied the abstracts they list realizing that they probably only list the studies that are positive to their product. I am interested in hearing from anyone who has real-world experience with this equipment. It sounds like a very time-consuming mode of therapy for an acute care facility. Any thoughts? I've seen some activity regarding this product on Jim Lubin's excellent vent users list http://www.makoa.org/ventuser.htm). Perhaps you'd get some feedback from vent users on this subject if you check out the posts there, or post your own message.

I did a quick search in the archives (bottom of the page) for "emerson" and saw a fair amount of activity. Perhaps you'd get more even with other search terms.
