I have been gien the go ahead to purchase a transport vent for a Ltach facility. Generally, we don't go to MRI's and if I did get a non MRI compatible vent a could borrow one from the facility that we are located in. We manage adult patients only and who are usually stable and weaning but occassionally are quite sick so I need a vent that can "deliver" if you know what I mean. I just took over management and they are currently using an Achieva...it only weighs about 50lbs and needs to be plugged in! I almost died laughing....

Have you looked at the Versamed i-vent, great vent has a long circuit and will work in MRI
