In volume mode, the tidal volume
appeared to display double in value.
It occurs only in Volume mode.
Anyone can explain it here, and/or any suggestion
to this if any?

Does this occur with a test lung? When in doubt switch it out to a new machine. If it is actually delivering double volume you have a broken machine. If you switched it did the problem continue?

I'm assuming you mean double exp tidal volume Mohammed, this is an increasing phenomena with low Vt settings with the ARDSNET protocols and active breathers. It's a form of asynchrony caused by the patient wanting more than they are getting. Increasing flow, increasing sedation, or treating the cause of the increased effort are all things to consider, along with a mechanical problem.

please check your expiratory flow sensor, especially when using hot-wire flow sensor, maybe there is some foreign body inside it. if you can confirm, wash and never use until it is dry
