should trach pt.'s on just aerosol trach collar,be monitored if there is no saturation problem, fio2 is below 50% and vitals are stable.But just spot checking them q 3 hrs.

It would depend on what the reason is the patient has the trach in the first place, how well they oxygenate and you specified that they do NOT have saturation issues, and are under 50% bleed through trach collar, and It would also depend on weather the patient could alert someone if there was an issue they could recognize.
