The emotional issues related to "sending a loved one off" across the area, state, country to Brownsville, Texas is very real for families. We certainly cannot say that we "understand" for we've never been in your shoes.
We only know that we will work with you to make the transition easier.
There are, unfortunately some things we do differently than the hospital. Most of these are because the regulations governing Nursing Homes are different than those for hospitals.
* The main one being that families are not allowed to stay overnight with the patient.
* There are hotels available close to the nursing home; we do not provide housing for families.
