Hi Andy,
Kyle is right, the HT50 does vibrate more at high flows because the friction-free micropistons move faster when flow is faster. The beauty of it is that they also move slower when flow is low. When you combine friction-free (it is cool to the touch while running) with variable speed micropistons you get a very low power draw. Think about using the 5.5 amp hour internal battery for up to 10 hours. And if you do choose to add a battery the size you are used to it will run it for about 5 days. The internal battery charges anytime the vent is plugged into AC or DC power so you can plug in while in the car and not only save battery time but actually add battery time since it is charging. Using some closed cell foam under/next to the HT50 will minimize the transfer of vibration to your back or seat while in your chair.

Give us a try.

All my best,

Cyndy Miller from Newport

I am quite mobile, and I use and LTV 950. It has been dropped, rained on, and nearly crushed by a malfunctioning reclining wheelchair. Believe me, it is very, very durable.
