Please help with defining PRVC / Auto and the different components involved in these modes. We are using the Servoi and any hints and tips on modes and weaning would be great.

What has Siemens given you about this? I saw from their 300A manual a pretty explicit definition of AutoMode (you can see a summary of it from VentWorld Product Viewer for the Siemens 300A), b

As far as PRVC is concerned, take a look at http://www.uthscsa.edu/respiratorycare/vent-handout.PDF. I haven't reviewed it personally, but it talks about PRVC among other new modes.

Maquet (formerly Siemens) should have provided you with a clinical apps specialist. If you do not know who is covering your area call your sells person . If you don't know who that is call Gayle Herrington, clinical apps specialist for Maquet at (817) 266-4607. She will be able to help you or point you in the right direction.
