I have heard through the rumor mill that some Drs. are starting to instill chemotherapy drugs directly into the lugs during a bronchoscopy. Has anyone heard or seen it as yet??

Here a couple of articles on bronchs and cancer treatment, however not direct instillation of chemo drugs. I was hoping someone would have heard of this. I asked a few intervetnional bronch docs and they thought as did FIN of brachitherapy. I will keep asking around.
