Has anyone heard or seen of the use of ICU vents not anasthesia vents, for the delivery of NO to acute asthma patients? email cspa94@yahoo.ca if you have any information.

I am not sure of any effect of NO on asthma, unless the asthma induced a hypertension state due to low PaO2's. Heliox seems much more indicated for asthma than NO.
