I work per diem for a home care company, due to reimbursement issues we are evaluating the patients for use of a concentrator to add o2 instead of liquid oxygen. what things would we take into consideration while evaluating these patients? they are all on ltv vents

jodi5143, I worked home care years ago and we would accasionally use a concentrator to bleed in O2 based on 2 requirements. 1. The patient required less than 30% O2 2. Patient request if they met requirement #1 Granted this was a rarity, but it was done. I hope this helps.
