Our 3100B is now just over 2 years old. We use it probably once or twice a month on ARDS patients in our adult ICU. Just wondering if other users have experienced unit overheating and shutting down. We think it has a lot to do with the size of our patients and their need for specialty airbed. We are loosing amplitude so increase the power. It's a vicious circle!

I'm not very familiar with the 3100B however, the 3100a requires a branch off of the air inlet to cool the piston. Is this something you are doing?
